My husband and I booked the July and Twenty Eight for a romantic birthday break for 5 nights and we had an absolutely fabulous stay. The staff are welcoming, friendly and check in was easy and smooth. The room was as clean, comfortable and modern as expected and as photos show. Nice selection of books available to peruse. The kitchen has everything you need for a short or long stay, including a coffee machine [beware the ristretto is rocket fuel!] dishwasher and proper oven and hob set with all cooking equipment included. The sofa is super cosy, perfect for two people to stretch out. The bed is massive, duvet crunchy in the best way and pillows were next level, I definitely want this set up at home! We had room 326 and it was really cosy being able to sit up in bed and look out the window at the lights from trams and cars going past at night :) Loads of storage space so it was easy to keep the room looking nice and tidy, the cupboards were chaos inside but plenty of room for everything. Peace and quiet is paramount for us when we stay somewhere, and this hotel has gone to great effort to ensure that its easy to stay quiet late at night and early in the morning with a little extra consideration [which luckily, the large majority of residents in this hotel were able to manage]. The room doors can close softly from both sides, as do the wardrobe doors, loo seats, fridge [with a little extra effort], oven and even the breakfast bar stools we couldn't drag noisily! The soundproofing from the windows was also very effective stopping any traffic noise. There is a tram stop just a few steps across the road and we usually took the 24 into Frederijksplein and walked 15m onto Rembrantplein where there are connections to centraal station. There are a whole load of buses that stop outside the hotel too but we stuck with the tram for novelty value.

The July - Twenty Eight was just wonderful. It was outside the touristy area, though not that far. The area wasn't bustling, but there were a number of good restaurants close by, as well as a supermarket. The city center and main points of interest were just one tram ride away, about 7 minutes' ride. The room was exactly as described, a bit on the small side, but had everything you needed. The soap smelled divine, and I wished I had room in my bag to purchase some and take home with me. The hair dryer was one of the better hotel hair dryers I've used. The refrigerator had complimentary small snacks, water, and other beverages. That was a pleasant surprise! The staff was friendly and courteous. Overall, it was a great choice for Amsterdam, and I wouldn't hesitate to book a room here for my next visit.

We didn’t take up the offer of continental breakfast because less than a 2 minute walk was a square around the corner with a variety of cafe’s /bars to suit all food requirements. There is also a supermarket available. The local Buses and tram stops are right outside the front of the serviced apartments and they run very frequently - every 5-10 minutes. A tip to get to The July serviced apartments from the airport is to catch the 397 bus. This drops you off right outside in around 20 minutes. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Clean/fresh linen & towels and luxurious complementary toiletries. Very welcoming, friendly & knowledgeable staff Great location 10-15 minutes into central Amsterdam

The rooms are big and spacious with working desk and a full kitchen. The breakfast is a bit thin but has everything one could ask for as a breakfast. The dining room is also the lobby and integrates a shared workspace which I used every morning. The staff is very friendly and helpful and are very willing to provide advice and help. There is a tram/bus spot 20 meters away, subway 5 minutes away, and train 20 minutes away (all times are by foot), makes this an absolute blast of a location. The location is very silent with some excellent dining options nearby filled with locals. I cannot stress this enough: one of the best hotels I stayed in.

The hotel is very stylish and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Excellent kitchenette, beautiful bathroom (tiles especially). The receptionist was super helpful and allowed us to check in early and check out late the following day. We also used the sauna which was wonderful, clean and a very high standard throughout. The hotel was well connected by public transport and there was a supermarket and a bakery within a few minutes walk. Overall one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in and some of the friendliest staff. Highly recommended!
